Dongdaemun is located at Jangchungdan-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul. Dongdaemun Market is a large commercial district comprised of traditional markets and shopping centers that covers the entire area around Dongdaemun Gate, a prominent landmark in Korea. Dongdaemun is also a shopping district filled with many high-rise shopping malls. Some are actually wholesale malls and they are quite strict about you purchasing 3 or more items to shop there All kinds of goods can be found here including silks and fabric, clothes, shoes and accessories, electronics, leather goods, sporting goods, office supplies, pet products and toys.

Dongdaemun is divided into 2 zones, wholesale and non-wholesale.
One of the malls in the district of Dongdaemun that is Lotte FITIN. This mall is Seoul’s first shopping mall to have an entire section for top premium fashion brands. If you want something unique and trendy, this is the place to go for branded items.



In addition to Lotte Fitin, there are 6 other malls in Dongdaemun : Hello aPM, Migliore, Doota, apM Place, U:US, apM & apM Luxe.

In this area there is also a building that has a very cool architecture with modern design. On the side of one of the areas there is a beautiful garden and comfortable for us to spend time relaxing. There are several cafes with locations to sit back while joking with friends.
