The second day of Short Trip South Korea our itinerary schedule for the first is to go to Mount Seorak. At 6:30 we have been asked to gather at the hotel restaurant. We had to have breakfast as soon as possible so that at seven o'clock we would be moving towards Mount Seorak. Because Sunday is definitely very much visitors. In order for us to enjoy and explore without having to be in a crowded crowd, we had to leave as early as possible.
Because our hotel is not too far from Mount Seorak, then travel by bus only takes about 40 minutes.
Mount Seorak (Seoraksan National Park) is located in Gangwon province which is one of the highest mountains in South Korea with an altitude of 1700 mdpl. The name Mount Seorak comes from the word "Seor means snow and Ak means big mountain". This is because Mount Seorak looks like a pile of frozen snow.

To reach the peak Seorak visitors can ride the cable car with a period of 6 minutes. Unfortunately on that day the cable car was not operational because it was in the repair period, so we can not go to the peak area. But it does not matter because I can still enjoy the beauty of Mount Seorak on the other side. What a beautiful green leaf, cherry blossoms are still pretty much adorn this area and the spring tree gives me a special nuance.
